Changes for Solving Data Conflicts between projects

Update of data storages for some tools to avoid conflicts when opening multiple projects created by different versions.

When using some of the tools in the application, the saved data connected to the tool will be updated to solve a possible “Data Conflict” issue. The update happens automatically without any notification the first time you change project specific data in an affected tool.

If you have access to Naviate Accelerate you can use the new Update Schema tool to update all affected extensible storages in your project in one go.

Important Note: To ensure data integrity, it is crucial that all users working on the affected projects are using the latest version of the application.

What's New Pop-up

What's New dialog box is not shown by default at Revit/Naviate startup for new installs.

When installing Naviate applications for the first time or after a complete uninstall of Naviate, the What’s New dialog box is turned off by default. The What’s New dialog box will not show up when Revit/Naviate is started unless you manually have turned it on.

Note! If you update Naviate by running the .msi files without first uninstalling the previously installed Naviate applications, the previous setting for What’s New (default on) is kept.

You can still access What’s New from Help menu to read about the new and improved features in last installed release.

When doing scripted install you can control if the if the What’s New dialog box should show at startup or not using the WHATSNEW parameter as before.

NEW! Calculate View Only

Calculations now allow calculations to be performed using only the elements visible in the currently active view. While the calculation window keeps its familiar appearance, it exclusively reflects data from the selected view. Additionally, any exports started from the calculation window will include only the elements present in that view, enabling more targeted analysis and streamlined reporting.

NEW! Export Calculation

A new export option has been added, allowing users to download calculation results as a CSV file. The exported data follows a consistent format, regardless of the distribution grouping used for embodied carbon, ensuring clarity and ease of use for further analysis or reporting.

NEW! Apply Resources Unit Update

A new feature has been implemented to address unit mismatch errors when applying resources. Users can now efficiently manage and resolve multiple unit discrepancies simultaneously, ensuring greater accuracy and consistency in resource application across the project.

NEW! Add Resource Comments

The Apply Resources feature has been updated to support the inclusion of Resource Comments. Each comment is stored to a dedicated Type parameter of the specific Revit Family Type. This allows users to capture and communicate important context—such as status updates, uncertainties about the selected EPD, or other project-relevant notes. These comments are also included in the export to One-click LCA, ensuring continuity of information throughout the workflow.

NEW! Resource Translation

Project settings have been enhanced to support Resource translations. Users can now specify the preferred language for displaying the list of Resources within the Apply Resources interface. Additionally, users can define the language to be used when saving or exporting data. If a Resource lacks a translation in the selected language, English will be applied as the default fallback.

Export Resource Comments to OCL

The export to OCL has been updated to include the new Resource Comments. This feature makes it possible to transfer important communication between the Revit model and OCL.

Calculation Performance Enhancement

We've improved the calculation engine to significantly reduce processing times. Users will now experience faster results, improving overall efficiency and responsiveness during project analysis.

Manage Assemblies Performance Enhancement

The performance of the Assembly creation process has been improved, resulting in quicker response times and a more efficient user experience.
