Login and startup changes to all applications
All Naviate 23.1.5 applications for Revit now uses your default browser for logging into Naviate. You still use your Symetri account and password as before; instead of getting a separate dialog box for entering your email and password your default browser is used.
You can close the page after you have logged in.
You only need to update one of your Naviate applications to get the new login functionality but we recommend that you use latest released version of your applications.
New! Foundation
Creates reinforcement for rectangular foundations (single foundations, pile caps, wall foundations, slabs and floors) based on predefined settings.
The tool is modeless (floating dialog). It places Top and Bottom reinforcement on the selected foundations, based on the configuration defined in the tool. Top and Bottom reinforcement can be configured separately for longitudinal and transferal direction, or you can have a single configuration that applies to both sides. Reinforcement bars for Top/Bottom, Longitudinal/Transversal directions can have different types, shapes, hooks and distribution, they are placed in a selected host and constrained to cover or to the main layer bars.
The main features are:
- You can select and apply reinforcement to several types of foundations, such as single foundations, pile caps, wall foundations, slabs or floors.
- Choose to have Top or Bottom reinforcement or have reinforcement in both zones, top and bottom.
- Define the main Layer direction, choose between Longitudinal or Transversal direction.
- For each direction longitudinal/transferal and each zone top/bottom choose reinforcement type, a single bar or overlapping bars.
- Configure bar type, for selected reinforcement type.
- For reinforcement rebar shape, use any rebar shape code and/or hooks from your template or create a new shape using the “None” option.
- You can define the number of bars or spacing of bars in a rebar set that will be created.
- Reinforcement is created as rebar sets and constrained to the host element or to other rebar elements in a host.
- You can edit the reinforcement created by the foundation tool without recreating rebar elements.
- You can edit all created reinforcement using standard Revit tools and keep track of the changes.
- Possibility to save your customized configuration (settings) as “Named settings” for future reuse.
- You can apply the “Named setting” to different foundation elements.
- Modify reinforcement of multiple foundations, using the same Named setting in one operation.
- You can work with the foundation “Named setting” in a work-share project. Multiple users can use the same “Named settings”.
- You can edit rebars created by the foundation tool that are propagated (Revit propagate tool) to other foundations.
- The tool provides an Error report, highlighting elements that have failed or have warnings.
- Read settings/configuration from the already reinforced foundation elements.
Save the configuration as a “Named setting” and update reinforcement of multiple foundations with the same “Named setting”:
Error report collects all errors and warnings during the rebar creation. In the Error Report you can find and revise rebar elements that have failed or have some warnings:
