Fix
Changes are available in Naviate for Civil 3D 2025.3 releases.
Naviate for Civil 3D have a new version numbering system for ease of understanding! This version is called 25.3.1 and that name will be common for all year-versions. So if you work on Civil 3D 2025, you will install Naviate for Civil 3D 2025 25.3.1. If you work on Civil 3D 2024, you will install Naviate for Civil 3D 2024 25.3.1.
In this version we have solved two installation issues that some customers have encountered. For more information on what those issues are and what the solution is, please see these two help-pages:
Apply Individual Style
Apply Individual Style is a new command that creates a copy of a surface style for individual changes. This can be used to temporarily highlight a surface in 3D or to quickly create a surface style when in an empty file. The Individual Style can be reset and removed with Reset Individual Style. These two commands can be accessed from the Ribbon or from the Right-click menu when a surface is selected.
Select Inside
Select Inside can modify a selection to only select objects inside or outside a closed polygon. The command can use either Window (select everything that the polygon encloses) or Crossing (select everything that is enclosed by or touches the polygon). Note that the Outside options select the opposite of what the Inside option selects.
Create View Frame
Create View Frame will now import layer settings from NVViewframe.dwg in Naviate Support Folder if the active dwg only has Layer 0 set in Drawing Settings > Object Layer for View Frames and Labels.
Create Sheets
Create Sheets can now zoom to irregular shaped view frames.
Object On/Off
Object On/Off can now display Tin Volume Surfaces as well.
Solid from Surface
Solid from Surface has been updated with an Update option so a solid can be updated if the surfaces have changed. The command can now also create solids between two surfaces.
Fix
- Fixed an issue where Hatch Viewframe did not import MatchLine.dwg to get the correct settings
- Fixed an issue where Export Table couldn’t handle two text rows in the same cell
- Fixed an issue where Object On Off still showed deleted surfaces
- Fixed an issue where a Feature Line that already had the style NaviateOff was overlooked in Object On Off
- Fixed an issue where Projekt Setup failed to import Tool Palettes
