Naviate for Civil 3D 2024.3 Traffic release

Updates in Naviate Traffic for Civil 3D. Highlights include the features Schematic View and Traffic to Infraworks, in addition to updates on Insert Sign Holder, Copy Sign Holder and Elevation Check.

Changes are available in Naviate for Civil 3D 2024.3 release.

Schematic View

Schematic View where all Sign Holders now have the option to use a schematic height on the sign holder to be able to have a real elevation for signs in 3D while showing a zero pole in the section view.

Traffic to Infraworks

Traffic to Infraworks, a new command that exports all traffic signs as solids to a DWG and moves all objects closer to origo. This to facilitate importing the DWG to Infraworks where objects far away from origo are distorted. The dialog will write a txt-file with the reference-origo coordinates.

Insert Sign Holder and Copy Sign Holder

Insert Sign Holder and Copy Sign Holder now has a reference Station option, where you can add/subtract distance to be able to easily place sign holders with specific intervals along an alignment.

InsertSignHolder and SignHolderManager now only imports the DWGs that are required for the selected sign holder, this will improve performance of the command.

Insert Sign Holder has been updated with several settings that previously ws in Sign Holder Parameters, such as Adjust to highest sign, Plan and Section Scale.

Sign Holder Manager is now oriented in columns instead of rows. The Size Name cell is now connected to same size-dialog as from Insert Sign Holder.

Elevation Check

Elevation check – can now select reference point in both plan and section and the clearance arrows are displayed in both section and 3D. If a schematic view is set for the section, the real view is turned on while elevation check is active.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where sign holders stopped auto-updating after a sign report was placed
  • Fixed a bug where the leader didn’t update correctly if it had been manually edited
