Naviate for Civil 3D 2024.3 Pipe release

Updates in Naviate for Civil 3D. Highlights include the features Spanning Labels, Pipe Fillet, Copy from Parts List, Edit Pipe Network Styles and Pipe Bend.

Changes are available in Naviate for Civil 3D 2024.3 release.

Spanning Labels

Spanning Labels – multiple commands to create and handle Spanning labels

Pipe Fillet

Pipe Fillet – Command to create a curved pipe between two straight pipes. The curve can be created based of radius, factor or length and can be created between pipes that are not connected.

Copy from Parts List

Copy from Parts List – can copy parts between parts lists with maintained styles, rules and pay items.

Edit Pipe Network Styles

Edit Pipe Network Styles – Export Pipe and Structure styles to Excel for ease of editing

Pipe Bend

Pipe Bend – a command to create gravity pipes at specific distances and directions. The command can create bends with or without an arc and with specific lengths of the bend.

Select Pipes by Spanning Label

Select pipes by Spanning Label can now include the Start and End structure in the selection set.

Reverse Pipe

Reverse Pipe the command can now display flow direction arrows on all pipes in the network for verification purposes before pipes are selected to be reversed. The command also imports the required label if it is not present in the drawing.

Offset Pipe Network

Offset Pipe Network can now select the pipe span upstream or downstream.

Create Pipe Network

Create Pipe Network from multiple polylines – can now create pipes upstream or downstream. The command can also apply spanning labels on the created pipe network.

Swap Part

Swap Part can now copy all data from one structure or pipe to another without swapping the part.

Fixes

  • Export Network to DWG – the exported file units setting is now the same as the original file
