Support for Acoustic Revit Templates
You can now use Bimfire with our Acoustic templates which is accessible through New Project.
Quick Family Connections
Now it has 6 connectable slots in the Bimfire ribbon menu and an "Opening only" selection setting.
Bimfire has improved its capabilities for working with opening requirements in regions that don't use the built-in Bimfire opening requirement symbols. This enhancement improves flexibility in family assignment. You can assign your own family symbols to the designated slots, like the existing workflow with Bimfire opening families. When only openings are selected, a filter is automatically applied. This restricts selection in the linked model to doors or windows. This ensures you target the relevant elements. The placed families keep the functionalities of the regular Bimfire opening families, including features like audit trail data, copied parameters, and connection ID. This keeps data integrity and simplifies collaboration.
Dense Compartmentations
Bimfire has expanded its support for international workflows, particularly in regions like Denmark, the UK, and the Netherlands. This update allows users to find openings placed by the Quick Family Connections tool that are missing requirement parameter values. This improved functionality ensures proper data management and avoids potential issues during project execution.
Audit Trail
Can now track changes of door type and door width and make them visible to the user.
Bimfire now offers enhanced functionality of managing opening data changes. Opening width and type modifications can be automatically reflected across the model using either the Resolve, Reset, or Audit Trail Update functions. Additionally, connected Bimfire symbols will be tagged with an audit trail status message to clarify any changes made to opening types or widths. This update is reflected in all Revit templates, ensuring consistent communication of opening data modifications.
Fixes
- Accept changes in Audit trail: Accept changes now only accept the location. Earlier it updated all audit trail data.
