Naviate Architecture July Release 2023.1.5

Updates in Naviate Architecture. Highlights include improvements to Opening Area and Create Coverings.

Changes is available in version 2023.1.5

Login and startup changes to all applications

All Naviate 23.1.5 applications for Revit now uses your default browser for logging into Naviate. You still use your Symetri account and password as before; instead of getting a separate dialog box for entering your email and password your default browser is used.

You can close the page after you have logged in.

You only need to update one of your Naviate applications to get the new login functionality but we recommend that you use latest released version of your applications.

Opening Area

Opening Area is the new name of the feature, earlier the name was Door/Window Area.

You can now also calculate and document the Curtain Wall opening area for each Room in the Project.

We have made the following improvements:

  • You are now able to document Curtain Wall Area on all Room instances
  • Added possibility to configure when to update the Curtain wall area on Rooms
  • Added possibility to configure which parameter to use for Curtain Wall area documentation

Create Coverings

Save coverings configurations as settings

Now you have the option to save your Floor, Wall, and Ceiling covering configurations as settings, allowing you to apply them to other Rooms effortlessly.

Define Floor boundary offset

Now you can define Floor boundary offset from Walls and Columns. You can as well Ignore Columns when creating Flooring boundaries.

Define wall covering Base Offset

Now you can define Wall covering Base Offset. This provides you with the possibility to place your Wall coverings more precisely within your Rooms.

Configure if Wall coverings are Room bounding

You can configure if Wall coverings are Room bounding. When turned on, the Wall covering area will not be extracted from the Area of the Room.


Fixes

  • Split Floor: Fixed issue when split line overlaps with floor boundary.
  • Door/Window Swing&Count: Fixed issue when wrong Swing count is applied on unconfigured/not applicable doors.
