Update Sheet Revision Parameters

We have improved the performance on the ‘Update Sheet Revision Parameters’ feature when used on project with many sheets and many revisions. We have been able to improve the performance to be up to 6x faster than it was previously.

The feature also improved how it gets revision clouds.

The following factors are now applied to which revisions are being read:

• Includes revision clouds on primary views placed on sheets - gets only revision clouds which are completely inside annotation crop region of the view.
• Includes revision clouds on primary views with dependent views placed on sheets - gets only revision clouds which are completely inside annotation crop region of the view.
• Includes revision clouds on dependent views placed on sheets - gets only revision clouds which are completely inside annotation crop region of the view.
• Includes all revision clouds on sheets or views (except Legend views) on the sheet that has a revisions cloud inside the annotation crop region of the view.
• Includes revision clouds is hidden in the view by category.
• Includes Revision Clouds on Callout Views placed on sheet.

The following factors are now applied to which revisions are NOT being read:

• Does not include revision cloud is hidden in the view by element.
• Does not include revision clouds from legend views.

Create Sheets

The Create Sheets feature has been improved to show the template sheet in the data grid and allow you to add/remove parameters to/from the data grid.

The template sheet and its parameters will now appear at the top of the data grid in the Create Sheets UI. It will be differentiated from the new sheets by having a background color yellow and represented with an information symbol to the left of the row. When hovering your mouse over the information symbol, a tooltip will appear saying ‘Template Sheet’.

A new button to the right of the data grid was added to allow you to add or remove parameters to the data grid. This shows all sheet parameters in the project and will be saved to the project to be used next time you open the feature.

The following improvements have been made to the Create Sheets feature:

• Ability to see template sheet data at the top row of the data grid in both the ‘Sheet Parameters’ and ‘View’ tabs.
  • The template sheet is highlighted in yellow and has an information triangle to provide tooltip that this is the template sheet.
  • You can modify template sheet data.
  • When modifying data for the template sheet, it will automatically apply to all other sheets in the data grid.
  • You can perform data grid functionality to fill copy, fill increment, or fill custom increment from the template sheet data.
• New button in the UI added for managing parameters in the data grid.
  • This was added to the ‘Sheet Parameters’ tab.
  • You can select which sheet parameters to see in the data grid and remove the parameters that you do not want to see in the data grid.
  • Settings for which parameters to show in the data grid are saved to the project.

Fixes

• Create Table: Improve image resolution for imported images.
• Publish IFC and NWC: Naming now only includes view name and not view type.
• Publish IFC: Fixed issue with getting custom made IFC export settings.
• Publish PDF Export: Fixed issues with order of sheets and views in a combined set.
• Align Views: Tree view is now collapsed by default to show Sheet level.
• Align Views: Fixed issue with filter views to align and still align views that weren’t filtered.
• Place Views: Fixed issue with using the match template view with schedules.
• Tag All: Fixed issue with creating Tag setting from Tag All feature. You can now create settings from the Tag all feature.
• Place Views: Fixed data grid filter for dropdowns. You can now type in all dropdowns to filter the list of elements within the dropdown.
• Align Text: Fixed Aligned for text notes.
• Export/Import: Fixed issues with not updating data for dependent views correctly.
• Export/Import: Fixed Issue with trying to Re-import Cross-Section Parameter.
• Imprint: Fixed issue with images resizing after auto-update.
• Section from Element: Fixed issue with creating section grid line.
• General User Interface (UI): Fixed 'Search and Replace' and 'Fill Increment' for new user interfaces.
