Symetri launch Naviate Geotech – integrated geotechnical data directly into Civil 3D
Symetri launch Naviate Geotech, a new Add-On to Autodesk Civil 3D, enabling imports, visualizations and analytics of geotechnical data directly in the design model. The solution reduces the need for manual updates and transfers to secure a better decision-making process.

Symetri launch Naviate Geotech, a new Add-On to Autodesk Civil 3D, enabling imports, visualizations and analytics of geotechnical data directly in the design model. The solution reduces the need for manual updates and transfers to secure a better decision-making process.
To secure correct and cost-efficient projects, geotechnical information is given, today this data is available in separate systems that don’t collaborate with each other. With Naviate Geotech we gather the data in one modelling environment, simplifying workflows and reducing the risk for errors,

Naviate Geotech imports geotechnical data from the NGI platform Field Manager, presenting the information directly in Civil 3D. The designers can see the geotechnical data directly in the models and drawings, without transferring the information between the different platforms. Naviate Geotech makes it possible to add or update existing information to keep the model updated when new data is added.
There is a demand for a geotechnical solution in Civil 3D. With Naviate Geotech our customers can make decisions faster and with the correct data when working with geotechnical information directly in the model,

Field Manager is an open and cloud-based platform for geotechnical ground survey data, developed by NGI, The Norwegian Geotechnical Institute. Field Manager supports the collection, processing, and quality assurance, and enables direct access to the essential geotechnical data.
