Too Much Project Time Spent Searching, Checking and Correcting? A First Look at Naviate Nexus
Nexus Suite™ from CTC Software is becoming Naviate Nexus as the established AEC solution joins the Naviate portfolio and prepares for its European introduction in January. It brings BIM content, standards, and project intelligence together to help organisations reduce fragmented ways of working and manage BIM more proactively.
AEC organisations are managing growing volumes of BIM content, standards and project information across increasingly complex and distributed teams. As operations grow, maintaining consistency and visibility becomes more difficult.
Content may be stored across different locations. Standards may be documented but applied differently between projects. Model-performance issues may only become visible after they have started affecting project work.
The result is often more time spent searching, checking, recreating and correcting, placing increasing pressure on project teams and BIM specialists.
Supporting a more proactive approach to BIM
Naviate Nexus brings BIM content, standards and project intelligence into one connected, purpose-built solution.
It helps organisations establish more reliable and scalable ways of working by supporting three connected areas:
- making approved BIM content easier to manage, find and reuse
- bringing standards and guidance closer to everyday modelling work
- providing greater visibility into model activity, health and performance
Together, these capabilities can help teams identify issues earlier, improve consistency and reduce dependence on fragmented processes and individual knowledge.
Naviate Nexus does not replace BIM expertise. It helps organisations apply that expertise more consistently across projects, teams and locations.
Nexus Suite is becoming Naviate Nexus
Nexus is not a newly developed product, but an established AEC solution with practical BIM workflow experience and an existing customer base.
Following Symetri’s acquisition of CTC Software, the solution is now joining the Naviate portfolio. In January, Nexus Suite will become Naviate Nexus, with the new identity visible across the software, product assets and customer communication as the solution is introduced to European customers.
The transition brings established Nexus capability together with the Naviate direction: helping AEC organisations improve productivity through purpose-built technology and workflows developed around real industry needs.
Creating a foundation for automation and AI
Reliable automation and AI-supported workflows depend on reliable information.
Organisations must be able to understand whether content is current and approved, which standards apply, how information is structured, and how access is governed.
By helping organisations structure, standardise and govern AEC content and data, Naviate Nexus creates a more trusted foundation for reporting, controlled automation and AI-supported workflows.
The immediate value remains practical: more efficient access to information, greater consistency and earlier insight into project and model performance. AI readiness is an additional strategic benefit created by improving the quality, structure and governance of the underlying information.
