Why you should join us

This is a unique opportunity to join in on Master Classes developed to address specific topics and challenges in the industry. These sessions are curated with the goal to broaden and deepen knowledge and understanding on how you can leverage Naviate and related technology platforms in your different processes and workflows. In smaller groups with our product experts, you can unleash the full potential of your projects.

You will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with our team of dedicated product specialists, tailored specifically to your discipline. With Product specialists from many of the industries we are represended in, including Architecture, Structure, Electrical, HVAC, Site and Landscaping, Daylight, BIMFire and our new product Naviate Zero. This is your chance to get a demo of features or dive into best practices.

Ideation group work w/ the Naviate team; product managers, product owners and product specialists. We divide all attendees into smaller groups to try and find ideas and gaps in the Naviate development. This is a chance to make Naviate what you need in your everyday work!

Jan Tore opens the event with a welcome and some practical information about the upcoming days.

10:10 - 10:55 Naviate and AI initiatives w/ Nicolai Karved.

In this session, we’ll explore key developments and insights from the Naviate ecosystem that are transforming how we work and collaborate.

From AI-powered productivity tools like Naviate Assistant and Actions, to smarter support through MySymetriHelp, and enhanced data flow across disciplines with Naviate Fabrication—we’ll walk through innovations that are shaping our future. We’ll also share customer feedback that guides our direction, and highlight emerging trends from Autodesk that influence our technology landscape.

10:55-11:15 Smarter Support and Learning with MySymetri and Naviate e-learning w/ Jan Tore Bugge.

MySymetri gives users quick access to support, license management, and personalized resources. Naviate e-learning complements this with flexible, on-demand training that helps users build skills, stay updated, and get the most out of the different Naviate products. Together, they empower users with faster problem-solving, continuous learning, and greater control over their workflows.

11:15 - 11:35 Break and mingle

Light serving and an opportunity to say hi to everyone attending. Our Expert corners will be open for discussion and tips on our Naviate portfolio.

11:35 - 12:25 Ideation work w/ the Naviate team; product managers, product owners and product specialists. Session is held in Norwegian.

We will discuss and find ideas or gaps  were Naviate can contribute. This is a chance to make Naviate what you need in your everyday work!

12:25 - 13:25 Lunch and expert corner

Lunch and an opportunity to say hi to everyone attending. Our Expert corners will be open for discussion and tips on our Naviate portfolio.

Class 1: Naviate for Revit - Model Management w/ Thomas Nyrud. Audience target group: All Revit disciplines. Session is held in Norwegian.

Manage Data. This master class is also available day 2. In this class we will go through powerful workflows that provide benefits when using Naviate cross-discipline in projects.

Class 2: Naviate for Revit - Naviate Architecture w/ Matthijs Lotter Homan. Audience target group: Architects. Session is held in Norwegian.

In this class we will go through a long-awaited workflow where you start with Areas and connect those to Rooms instead of the traditional method where Naviate is used to create Areas based on Rooms.

Class 3: Naviate for Revit - Naviate Structure: Tag from template and Element Detailing w/ Muhib Khan. Audience target group: Structural Engineers. Session is held in Norwegian.

Tag elements faster with Naviate and learn about our new feature for numbering similar elements.

Class 4: Naviate for Revit - Optimize workflow in work-sharing projects in Revit w/ Matthijs Lotter Homan. Audience target group: All Revit disciplines. Session is held in Norwegian.

In this class we will go through how to optimize workflows using Worksharing in local and ACC environment.

Class 5: Naviate Nebula w/ Claus Vemgaard and Lina Martinez. Audience target group: . Session is held in Norwegian/Swedish.

Integrate your common data environments for the purpose of connecting workflows with automation and provide insight from data.

Class 6: Naviate for Revit - Naviate MEP w/ Eirik Yndesdal. Audience target group: MEP. HVAC and Electrical Engineers. Sesson is held in Norwegian.

We will explore some of the electrical workflows using Naviate Accelerate & Naviate MEP and learn about the useful productivity tools of Naviate MEP.

We will take a look at some of the main features and enhancements to this year’s Autodesk Revit 2026 release. Everything from generic enhancements to discipline specific enhancements for Architcture and Structure.

We will take a look at some of the main features in our Naviate 2026 release. In addition to Naviate Accelerate we will cover all diciplines updates and new features.

Class 7: Naviate for Revit - Naviate Zero w/ Ola Walvenius. Audience target group: All Revit disciplines. Session is held in Swedish.

With Naviate Zero we give you the possibility to make smart, sustainable material selection directly in your Revit model.

In this master class we will give you an introduction to Building Lifecycle Assessment, LCA and a step-by-step guide of how to use Naviate Zero. You will learn how easy it is to make informed sustainability choices with Naviate Zero.

Class 8: Naviate for Revit - Naviate Environment w/Jan Tore Bugge. Audience target group: Landscape Architects. Session is held in Norwegian.

In this master class we will give a product overview of Naviate Environment. Naviate Environment is replacing Naviate Site & Landscaping. Learn more about why we are doing this change.

12:30 - 12:50 Naviate product family and the CTC Software acquisition w/ Jan Tore Bugge. Session is held in Norwegian.

Symetri announced the acquisition of CTC Software late 2024, a leading provider of productivity tools and content for Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D users. Now we are at the beginning of the planned merger between CTC’s renowned toolsets and the Naviate product family. The integration aims to deliver a more powerful, seamless experience for AEC professionals by combining the strengths of both platforms; enhancing workflows, boosting efficiency, and expanding support across global markets.

Payment: Invoice

Invoice is sent to the company connected to the org number. Please remember to add PO/invoice details if this is something required in your company. Most companies have a PO practice and will not approve invoices without.

Every third (3rd) registrant from the same company will be attending for free. This is administrated when we invoice after the event.

Conditions

The event is planned to take place in Oslo, October 7-8. We in Symetri reserve the right to cancel the event if needed. There will be photos and video taken at the event to be used during the event and for later communication of the event and similar activities. All registrants will receive invitation to later events, you can opt-out of these in the email. By attending the event you accept the conditions above.

How to get here

  • Car: there's parking in the building, fee not included in event registration cost
  • Subway: Take subway 4 or 5 to Blindern (west in Oslo) and follow the signs. The subway takes 12 minutes from Oslo Central Station, and walking to the entrance takes approx. 5 minutes.

Overview rooms

Toppsenteret: floor 5.
Rooms: Common area. Faros, Stratus and Nimbus.

Most of the event will find place here in the common area and Faros. Key note, common agenda, coffee breaks, lunch and evening event.

Where: from the reception area in Forskningsparken, go all the way to the other end of the building on floor 1, there's a lift or a long set of stairs taking you to Toppsenteret. 

Hagen 3, Hagen 4 and hagen 5: floor 0

Hagen 3, 4 and 5 is located next to each other. Take the lift (or the stairs next to Parken bakeri down one floor. The rooms are located in the glass hallway next to the canteen/underneath the reception area.

Availability and guidance

All rooms are available via lifts and stairs. There will be banners and/or signs with "Symetri" outside the rooms. Please ask Forskningsparken staff or any of the Symetri employees at the event for guidance if needed. For all master classes, there will be a Symetri employee gathering all participants to each room.
